Poppy is the coolest greyhound ever. There's no doubt about that. SERENGETI tipped us off to this slamming video featuring the triumphant spinting action of Poppy, aptly set to his tune "Greyhound", from 2012's C.A.R.

The rumors are true. A second LP from Los Angeles-based Will Wiesenfeld, aka Baths, is complete, and now in the mastering process (see photo above from a session at Daddy Kev's studio, Cosmic Zoo). We're not going to reveal much more than that at this point, but keep a lookout for more details in coming weeks.

The fellows of the Anticon office (Sodapop & Low Limit) are celebrating the Mayan Apocalypse this Friday at the Crosby in Santa Ana. The event will feature a super special surprise guest of the most dandy variety to help usher in a new world order with a soundtrack of the choicest of rap tunes. And if we all survive the impending doom, you'll be able to catch future Medium #Rare installments for FREE every third Friday.

Everyone's favorite American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift gets the remix treatment from D33J this week, and the result is a severly moody hood anthem, screwed to the point of no return. It's a love story, so grab it over at D33J's soundcloud before it's gone.

Congrats to our friends at Leaving Records who have teamed up with Stones Throw Records for DUAL FORM, a "53-minute dive into the musical other, a place where freedom of form meets depth of vision, where the old world rhythms meet new world means, and where your labels begin to fall apart." Serengeti (in collaboration with Matthewdavid as Davis) and Odd Nosdam both feature on the release. More info about the release here
