It's good, but it's not rap

cLOUDDEAD's odd nosdam has no need to prove his vast production skills, but continue he does, on Anticon's ever widening exploration to the edges of music. There's a range of distinctly non-hip-hop guests aiding in his quest too - including rock vocal overlord Mike Patton and indie sound manipulator Jessica Bailiff - alongside the usual Anticon collaborators. But the most telling moment comes via closer 'Flying Saucer Attack', which belies influences drawn from the cult drone-rock experimentalists of the same name - soothing and also cerebral.
